About

It has been said that 2013 marks a year where we will witness new levels of consciousness and awareness. It has also been called the year of creativity. Bearing this in mind and because of so many changes in my personal and professional life, a complete redesign and re-evaluation of my work and life’s pursuits seemed eminent … in fact, there really wasn’t much choice in the matter as these creative pursuits presented themselves to me over and over again. Thoughts, ideas, images, experiences were screaming to be told.

I’ve traveled quite a journey since I last wrote here. I have had a lot of healing to do. 2012 was a hell of year with challenges and adjustments, and major moves on the horizon.  I now make my home in Göteborg, Sweden and am experiencing a whole new lifestyle. While there is a huge learning curve still ahead of me, it seems like this was the place I was always meant to call home. I’m happy and at ease here. I have a great love.

I’ve spend a lot of time over the last few months thinking, moving, recovering, transitioning, adjusting and pondering over how one restarts and redesigns their life from scratch. What does it mean to live an authentic life? And where does one start? Is 2013 truly a new start for us all?

It is now time to continue the journey. This is my starting point. This site will serve as a reflection of my wanderings through a new cultural world. It is a place where I can now reflect on the past and look to the future. I am, redesigning myself.

Here I will explore new ideas, art venues, current events, cultural forays, and visual documentations. I am a communicator and I wish to share these things with you.  I am a writer, photographer and designer. This is my story.

 A Bit About Work

I am available for writing assignments for both print and online publications, editorial, copy-writing, content development and marketing.  I seek to expand my photography into various Scandinavian, European, and US markets thus opening up my work to a more international audience. Combining my photography with written copy, I have found that my publishers have appreciated my ability to combine words and images to create complete and compelling stories. I am available for work for travel, cultural, and current event formats and publications.  I also look for representation in galleries, participatory installations and shows. You can find my photography portfolio here and on 500px. Take a look at the nice things people have said about my work. Contact Me here.

I have written for the following publications and organizations:
INK publications
ArtScope Magazine
The New Haven Art Council
AIGA Connecticut- the professional association for design.
