Sometimes you happen upon a surprise.  This photo was taken in Paris (somewhere) as my best gal pal and I were searching for a ladies room. I just loved the simple pretty of these stairs.  Just goes to show… you should always carry a camera on you… just in case.

From May Day, May 1, 2010. A bike ride to the beach on a most perfect day. I was taken by the textures and lines in this setting. I even have this photo set as the background for my Android cellphone.  The bike? A new Specialized road bike.

Another photo from my garden. Early Spring this tree produces these delightful little red bud blooms. Later in the summer the leaves form the shape of hearts.
